Hello, and welcome to my blog. My name is John Owen Jones and I’m a PE teacher from Porthmadog, Wales.

I love my job almost as much as I love watching live sport. Whether it’s mainstream sports like rugby and Formula 1 or more off-the-wall activities like surfing, you can pretty much guarantee I’ll be keeping a close eye on everything from the comfort of my sofa. Sometimes, I even play myself (not half as much as I used to though…).

I’m also lucky enough to have a big family in and around Porthmadog. We’re a really close-knit bunch – my relatives are always popping by for a few beers, and we’ve even been to the odd festival together as well. Don’t get me wrong, I’m no expert on music but I know what I like and I’m not against sharing my latest musical find with you all.
